GES will be participating in the Great American Clean-up.  We will be recycling cans starting March 1 through

May 14.  The class with the most cans will receive a pizza party.  Get your recycle bins ready!!
Hello and welcome to our website.  My name is Charles Breidert and it is my privilege to hold the position of principal at Gainesboro Elementary School.  We are a Title I school serving 380 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 3.  We have a strong emphasis on literacy.  Children must learn to read in order to succeed.  We provide a safe, loving, and disciplined environment in which our children can flourish.

Gainesboro is the county seat of Jackson County, Tennessee and is located in the northern part of middle Tennessee.  This is a beautifully scenic area.  The Cumberland River meanders through the county from one end to the other providing many opportunities for recreation.  I hope you enjoy our website and if you have a chance please come visit us.
