Hello and welcome to our website. My name is Mrs. Tina Cassetty and it is my privilege to hold the position of principal at Gainesboro Elementary School. We are a Title I school serving 380 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 3. We have a strong emphasis on literacy. Children must learn to read in order to succeed. We provide a safe, loving, and disciplined environment in which our children can flourish.
Gainesboro is the county seat of Jackson County, Tennessee and is located in the northern part of middle Tennessee. This is a beautifully scenic area. The Cumberland River meanders through the county from one end to the other providing many opportunities for recreation. I hope you enjoy our website and if you have a chance please come visit us.
